Xin tư vấn về ý tưởng đồ án tốt nghiệp

Chào mọi người.
Em đang là sinh viên năm cuối và chuẩn bị làm đồ án tốt nghiệp nhưng không có ý tưởng đề tài nào phù hợp. Hiện em có ý định chọn đề tài về Smart home (điều khiển các thiết bị tại nhà bằng app android hoặc desktop) nhưng sợ nó lạc đề nên cũng chưa dám chắc. Mong anh, chị, các bạn tư vấn cho em.

What’s your major? is it software development? I’m working on mobile development, maybe I can help you.
Assume it’s true, Smart Home is an interesting subject and it’s trending too, so just go ahead.

Yes, my major is IT (software development and web development). I have built some arduino projects included smart home model before. I’d prefer to build it on desktop environment rather than mobile because I’m new to mobile environment, I don’t really know much about it (the only project I built in it was a weather app using openweathermap API) but if mobile environment is better than dekstop (for smart home) then I’ll try my best doing it.

Let’s analyze something about Smart Home System(SHS in short):
1/ As a user I won’t wanna turn on the whole pc just for turning on the air conditioner or something else, this process is very inconvenient.
2/ A SHS need a central processing unit(CPU) to operate the whole system, but again don’t force user to use a pc, it should be some thing really tiny such as a Raspbian/Arduino device. This CPU need to work 24/24 and connect all other devices, user won’t need to know about its existing.
3/ Now how can user control all these stubs? assume I’m lying on my sofa and wanna turn on the washing machine, no thing more convenient than a mobile app.
