‘nvidia drivers stopped working and has recovered’
Well after having this problem for quite some time now, I have finally found out what the problem is, and more importantly how to fix this really annoying problem…
So many answers out there with people giving so many varied solutions, like messing with voltage, replacing ram, replacing card, adjusting performance setting…none will work!
So here goes, if you are getting this message and the screen keeps going black then back on etc, it’s because the GPU core on the nvidia is soaring up to 98%. it will stay this way and the graphic card temperature will keep climbing only to stop when you move your mouse. Move the mouse, the screen will go black and the popup will say your driver has recovered, etc. To verify what I say, I recommend you download MSI Afterburner (it will work on most nvidia cards). No need to adjust the setting, just watch the graph and watch the core idle along, then suddenly rise up to 98 or 97% and stay there…move the mouse and the system will recover.
So whats causing this? Well if you bring up your task manager you will see one of the svcHost.exe sevices starting to eat up your memory. This is being controlled by a nice old piece of malware called Bitminer. This trojan will use CUDA to accelerate the bitcoin mining using your GPU and result in the black screens and crashing nvidia driver will are experiencing. To solve this get yourself a good malware removal tool like malware byte and flush it out. I uninstalled my nvidia drivers using drive sweeper from guru3d then started the system in safemode and ran malwarebyte…sure enough found the malware and now stable (although I did have to do a full hard drive scan). Hope this helps and lays to rest this very annoying problem.
p/s: chúc chú sớm cài lại win
Em cài lại driver rồi :v để test vài bữa xem , nếu không được thì chắc do cái Bitminer?
