These days, cons, scammers and fraudsters are becoming increasingly savvy with AI and know how to use it to deceive, defraud, and diddle people. For example, an elderly grandmother receives an email with a picture of her beloved grandson and a blackmail message or a bill for expenses incurred on his behalf…
To be honest, I also find it hard to tell a fake face from a real one. But today I came across this blog post: “Find out if you can spot an AI deepfake with our test”—it’s really an eye-opener. Why not give it a try yourself?

Don’t deceive yourself. If you find it’s difficult to tell a fake face or fake video, then always assume everything is fake until you/someone proves it isn’t. If you receive a money relative email, call or video call, always assume it’s a scam. They always put us in a rush situation. Take it slowly.
