Btw, it seems to me that something is wrong in Vietnam, so even educated people try to “evade” Vietnam by disappearing abroad as students.
I think most of them was just pretending as student at the first place and most of them are Indian student. Despite the percentage below average but almost 20,000 “students” for just a single year is very high!
The total student is also surprised to me. 650,000 students for a single year is about 2.2% of Canada population (30million).

This is Vietnam, in my opinion, which is still very “lạc hậu”. Parents have children and expect the children to work for them as “compensation” for “having children”. And the children, even as adults, are bound by this stupid Confucian tradition and toil and live miserably abroad as if they were robots while the parents at home coquet with sumptuous villas as wealthy people.
